Fees
I am based and work in West Sussex.
I offer a free initial 30min telephone consultation to help us decide whether working together feels right.
My standard fee is £45 per 50 minute session for individual clients. Students or clients in particular circumstances may be eligible for a reduced rate, please feel free to ask.
Frequently Asked Questions
Below are answers to some of the most common questions I’m asked about counselling and hypnotherapy. If your question isn’t covered here, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. I’d be happy to arrange a free call to explore any concerns or queries you may have.
1. What can I expect during my first counselling or hypnotherapy session?
The first session is a gentle introduction. It’s a chance for us to meet, for you to share what’s brought you here, and for me to explain how the process works. Whether you’re seeking counselling, hypnotherapy, or a combination of both, we’ll talk through your hopes and concerns, and I’ll explain things like confidentiality and what to expect from future sessions. There’s no pressure to share everything right away—this is about creating a safe, supportive space at your pace.
2. How long does a session last, and how many will I need?
Each session lasts 50 minutes, longer if it is for smoking cessation or weight loss. The number of sessions varies depending on your goals and personal circumstances. Some people feel lighter after just a few sessions; others choose to engage in longer-term support. We’ll work together to create a plan that feels right for you, and we’ll review your progress as we go.
3. Is counselling and hypnotherapy confidential?
Absolutely. Confidentiality is a cornerstone of my work. What you share in session stays between us, with only a few legal exceptions—such as if there’s a risk of serious harm to yourself or others, or if I’m legally required to disclose information. My aim is to provide a secure and non-judgemental space where you feel free to speak openly.
4. What kinds of issues can counselling and hypnotherapy help with?
Both counselling and hypnotherapy can be effective for a wide range of challenges. I tailor the approach based on your unique needs. Here are some of the areas I commonly work with:
Anxiety and depression
Stress and burnout
Grief and bereavement (including pet loss)
Relationship and family difficulties
Trauma and past experiences
Identity, self-worth, and purpose
Neurodiversity and emotional regulation
Habits, phobias, and unwanted behaviours (via hypnotherapy)
Confidence building and personal growth
And lots more.
